Global Chartering was established in 2019 as a 50:50 joint venture between leading steelmaker, ArcelorMittal, and DryLog, experts in shipping dry bulk globally. The venture combines ArcelorMittal’s cargo knowledge with DryLog’s extensive technical and commercial vessel management expertise. It handles a large part of ArcelorMittal’s annual cargo business from three bases in London, Mauritius and India.

We handle 25 per cent of ArcelorMittal's dry bulk shipping requirements worldwide, on behalf of AM Sourcing SCA, AM/NS India, AM Mining SA, AM Logistics Belgium NV, and AM/NS Calvert LLC. Our top three customers in terms of cargo lift are AM Sourcing SCA, AM Nippon Steel India and Tata Steel Global. Other customers include Vale International SA, Rio Tinto Shipping (Asia) and Trafigura Maritime Logistics.
Mr Viral C Vora is an executive board member of Global Chartering Limited. With over 48 years' experience in the cargo and freight industry, he has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of shipping dry bulk around the world.

Yannis is responsible for the strategic direction and management of Global Chartering and is also managing director of AMDL Ship Management.
He has been vice chairman of DryLog since 2014. A seasoned director of 35 years, he has been a director of Ceres Shipping and its subsidiaries from 2004 until today.

Capt. Nitin Mehotra joined Arcelor Mittal in 2003. He is responsible for raw materials and finished goods chartering, all port activities, ship purchasing and leasing, as well as shipping operations.

Gurpreet is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and management of finance-related activities for several shipping companies within the ArcelorMittal Group. A skilled negotiator, he has successfully led financial restructuring initiatives, achieving significant cost reductions and advantageous financing terms.

Sanjay spent 20 years with Anglo Eastern gaining deep expertise in shipping technical management before joining Global Chartering. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of vessel performance and his dedication to safety is unwavering.

Alper is head of chartering and raw materials at ArcelorMittal Shipping. As an accomplished and seasoned professional in the maritime industry, he has a wealth of expertise as a dry bulk charterer securing and managing charter contracts.
